The Apartment
The frame of a room, the size of a small kitchen. One solid wall, the other three sides open. Each side is scanned by a camera and the result projected directly above. Walking around, the audience can see in from each side, as a projection above, as a real space below. Inside the room are three performers, their live images projected above, mixed with images from the recent past, the same three performers seen from three sides, occupying the space, at different times. The same kitchen is used daily for years. The room stays the same, but the people can change - coming from different times in the past, they interact with each other, haunting each other’s memories and premonitions.
